Originally from Hong Kong, he holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC Okanagan and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. His clinical experience includes diverse settings such as community outpatient care, acute care, mental health, and pediatrics. He has worked in sports performance and rehabilitation, focusing on injury recovery and performance enhancement. Matthew has received additional training in dry needling, NeuroKinetic Therapy, and various biomechanical and exercise approaches.
He emphasizes creating personalized physiotherapy plans that align with individual goals and lifestyles. By understanding each patient's specific context, he collaborates to integrate movement, exercise, and pain management into recovery strategies. Outside the clinic, Matthew maintains an active lifestyle through running, strength training, and hiking.
